Been gone for a while but, I'm back!

Damn! It has been a while since my last post. I was supposed to be posting atleast daily but, that hasn't turned out to be the case. Well since my last post the Lakers won the championship, 5 rings for Mr. Bryant. I have moved into my place with my wife and been trying to get things in order and dealing with my pain in the ass dog. Oh yeah, I purchased a dog while I was gone too. Now I am in the works of getting this idea I have been running with out. Don't want to say just yet what it is but, I am starting to work hard on getting ideas and things out. Looking for the right people and so on. Things have been pretty good otherwise. Stay tuned for an update as to what will be going on in the coming months and I will try my best to stay on here and continue to post almost daily.

What a week!

Ok, so as you know I attended Game 5 of the NBA Finals in Boston with my Wife. I really shake my head to the fans of Boston. They are some of the nastiest people in the world. I was warned before I left that I was in for a surprise but, WOW! Not to mention the fact that I was called out by a lot of "Smeltic" fans for my shirt that I wore in support of my Lakers! (check previous post to see the shirt). I almost got into two fights and had to calm my Wife down from almost killing a guy. All in all it was a great experience. I have been to a few NBA games but, this was my first NBA Finals and it was my wife's first NBA. We had a great time though, we stood at the Hyatt Place Medford which was five minutes away from TD Garden. Not to mention our GPS had me driving in circles for nearly an hour. It was fun though! We were able to enjoy each others company and not have to be bothered by anyone. But, back to my Lakers. Sunday's game 5 was horrible. That was not good Laker basketball. However, on Tuesday for Game 6, that was incredible Laker basketball being played. It just goes to show that we wanted to win it all at home in front of our home crowd. Tonight is Game 7 and will be a great Game 7 at that. Boston "Smeltic" fans do not get your hopes up yet. There are 48 minutes of basketball still left to be played and the standing are 0-0. WIN OR GO HOME! ~

What Else Would You Be Doing On A Tuesday Night?

For those that do not know, I DJ. Big surprise right? Anyways, I'm considering this to be my "1st" real gig now since the last one...long story. I've been into DJin since I was about 11. My father has been a DJ for at least 20yrs and every chance I had I would spin with him. I was able to get my first big break when I was younger spinning at a local skating rink in Monroe, CT "Skate Tyme". Once I started my junior year in high school I started to fall off do to playing basketball and even into college. Now those things in my life are over and I'm back! I have been networking and talking to a lot of other DJs and music industry people trying to find things to start off in and get my feet wet again. A good DJ friend of mine has found a spot for us to turn out! Where you ask? Marisa 's in Trumbull, CT. It is a nice restaurant/bar and they have shows/parties/bands that come in weekly. Being that we live in CT and all of the bars and clubs party on the same night of the week, the only thing left to do is start a new night. My boy and the owner of Marisa's decided to take a stab at $2 Tuesdays. No BAND! just great music from the DJs. So everyone make sure you make your way there every Tuesday as of June 8. This Tuesday June 15th, I will be the guest DJ for the night and all my friends will tell you I spin nothing but HEAT! But definitely come down support us and party all night long. What else would you be doing on a Tuesday night?

THE LAKER JOURNEY

Ok, I have to say that I am a huge L.A. Laker fan. I have always dreamed that one day I would be able to see Kobe and the Lakers in a NBA Finals game. Long story short...I FINALLY WILL!! Sunday June 13th for game 5 my wife and I will be at TD Bank North Garden to see the Lakers destroy the "Smeltics". Me being such a "stand out" guy, I had to purchase the "best" t-shirt for this occasion. I was able to connect with a guy out in L.A. who does some serious artwork and decided to design some t-shirts to show how much he hates the "Smeltics" as well. Good looking out Charlie for the shirts!
For those who know me, you know how much I love kicks. Any chance I get I am always camping out or getting my hands on an early release of the hottest Jordan sneakers or Nikes. So you know the only way to finish off this great design of a shirt was with a pair of Jordan's. Retro Jordan IV "Lakers Edition" not a limited release but definitely a must have. So the wife and I will head out to Boston and I will let every fan know how much I hate them! Lol I will be posting photos from the game so stay tuend!
